Hard Rock Cafe Rocks!

So for those of you who don't know, I work at Hard Rock Cafe in DC as the Financial Admin and I love it! This month is our Pinktober where we're doing all these charity events for breast cancer. So last week we launched it all off with a big conference thing where Melissa Ethridge came and performed. It was a great day in the office :)
Some servers getting interviewed, nice

Melissa checking out the Memorabilia

Oh and guess who else was at the launch? Look familar?

Of course not, not yet anyways. These are the girls from the DC Real World. They're still filming so you haven't seen them on TV yet. Pretty cool though, they were nice!

Look who I ran into on the street the other day...

Conference Donuts

So the boys were gone at priesthood and what did we want to do with all this dough?
Made homemade donuts....yummy!

We were thinking about starting our own business, what do you think?
Rumor has it Elder Nelson's family has the exact same kind too, cool? I think so!

And we had to play rock band while the boys were gone!

Fall Festivities: Apple picking

It all started with this beauiful land...ahh

National Book Festival

Some girl friends and I went to the national book festival on the national mall. it was really fun! they had lots of stuff for kids and such but we had to take a pic with the cute target dog! we got a nice bag from them too. sweet!
Isent this awesome! Arthur! I would have loved that as a kid, i mean i loved it now!

Lots of ppl...

Ward Camp Out

Check out these two happy campers!
Jer, finally out of the classroom, loving nature!
Funny story: so Jer comes home from work waay tired of course, his students are crazy! (one was chocked yesterday, I'm serious) So he had a valid reason for wanting to sit on his butt and relax friday afternoon. Well, I really wanted to go camping with the ward and had to get creative in order to get Jer to come. It actually was easier then I thought. I might need to mention that we still don't have a couch right now....see what Jer is sitting in? Thats our couch! So all I had to do was tell him that he can still sit on his butt, on our couch, but in nature! once he realized this, he said, "Ok fine, pack up the couch, lets go." He he

And he made a friend :) this is Gianna, I nanny for them, so cute! Shes showing Jer our tent, which we borrowed from Gianna's very kind mother. We're not the most prepared campers. But we brought our couch :)

This lil guy is Stone, so cute!

Ahh soo pretty!
