Kicking off Fall season

We pulled out the Halloween decorations the other day and the weather has surprisingly been coaporating with the change of season too! We found the kid's Halloween costumes early this year. Emory is a transformer and McKelle is Skye from Paw Patrol, a TV show.  Emory has been in love with his costume! This last week he's only taken it off for bedtime and for me to wash it. He's super cute. He'll say, "Mom, watch me transform!" Then he'll lay down on the ground with his arms and legs spread out then he'll pull them all in tight against his body like a pencil and just lay there still on the ground. He'll even try and talk like a robot.

We went with some friends the other day to Krispy Kreme donuts. If you dressed up like a pirate, they gave you a dozen donuts for free! So, some friends came over to get all dressed up. I told Emory if he wanted some donuts he needed to dress like a pirate. But, he didn't want to take his transformers costume off so he said, "I'll be a transformer pirate." He ware his read pirate hat and belt over his transformer costume :)

We did a little dress up play with old Halloween costumes and practiced trick or treating. I passed out lego pieces. Emory came up to me and said, "Trick or treat. I get a lot cause I'm a man. I have hair on my arms and hair on my legs." I had to try not to laugh.
