Table Manners

I had the realization, again, this week that we need to practice our table manners! We had the missionaries come over for dinner this week and it was terrible. The kids talk over everyone and are so loud. Emory had all this food in his mouth and coughed or chocked or something and spit food out everywhere on the table and on one missionaries cup and probably his food too because he didn't eat any more! Emory kept farting...it was very embarrassing and a disaster!

You think we would have learned our lesson but that weekend Corrine, Gary, Dallas, and Noelle came over for dinner (my aunt, uncle, cousin and wife). McKelle was terrible. She wouldn't eat anything and then just cried and cried. So we sent her to her room kicking and screaming so we could actually hear to talk. Unfortunately, we locked her in her room because she ended up pooping in her underwear, well she had pulled them down to her knees so most of it ended up on the carpet actually. Ahh! I guess she was acting up because her tummy hurt. I wish she would just tell us that! Anyways, we begged them to stay long enough for us to put the kids to bed so we could actually enjoy their company :)

After the kids when around the room telling a quick story each (they both told a spooky story of a ghost who went around and tickled everyone in the room, very cute) we sent them to bed and enjoyed the evening visiting with the big kids. Overall, it was really nice to have human connection but it sure wore me out!
