Emory learns to ride a bike

Emory got a balance bike, which is just a small bike but has no pedals, over a year ago. He quickly learned how to fly on it and even won his first trophy at a BMX track on his balance bike. Needless to say, he was very comfortable on it and quickly learned how to balance. We've never really had an opportunity to try out a pedal bike until our trip to Utah this summer. 

We visited my best friend growing up, Lindsay, for a few days in Logan. Emory saw a petal bike his size and wanted to try it out. I held the bike steady while he got comfortable and started to petal. I ran beside him to make sure he didn't run into the rocks but he really didn't need my help at all. He just got on and road it perfectly! After 5 or 6 times going back and forth, he had it all figured out and was all on his own. He said he was very proud of himself and McKelle kept saying, "want dis, want dis" pointing to him riding. Pretty big accomplishment for our cute big boy!
